The button 18px|link= adds an annotation. Via 18px|link= (View history) you view the history. Earlier, superseded annotations can also be expanded via Show N earlier annotations, where N is the number of earlier annotations. This keeps the history available next to the current value. See Viewing and undoing annotations.
